Slinging webs will never get boring, but it certainly doesn’t hurt to switch things up now and then. Miles Morales, also bitten by a radioactive spider, follows in the footsteps of Peter Parker. However, 100vip has an individual storyline that picks up where the predecessors left off. Accompanying the highly anticipated sequel at launch, Sony has confirmed Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will have its own custom PS5 bundle along with a unique DualSense controller design to boot. On top of that, it’s expected to set the scene ahead of the game’s arrival, giving us further insight into what Peter, Miles, and MJ have all been getting up to since their last appearance.
As Peter goes on a mindless symbiote-induced rampage against the Hunters (even nearly killing Mary Jane at one point), Kraven captures Miles and forces him to fight Li. Miles overcomes his anger towards Li and helps him escape, directing him to find Peter. Despite the disappointment, it’s unlikely that any DLC for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 would’ve been very exciting. All of which brings us to Marvel’s Spider-Man 2’s PC system requirements, with Sony’s minimum specification targeting 720p at 30fps on Very Low settings.
Those with considerably more powerful hardware (which is to say, an RTX 4090 and i K/Ryzen X3D) can aim for 60fps at 4K resolutions, using Very High Ray Tracing Ultimate settings. PC Purchase Perks include an Arachknight Suit for Peter and a Shadow-Spider Suit for Miles (with 3 color variants each), a Web Grabber Gadget, and +3 Skill Points. With a PlayStation Network account connection, players can receive two additional suits, the Spider-Man 2099 Black Suit and the Miles Morales 2099 Suit. A PSN account is optional, though, and not required in order to play Spider-Man 2 on PC.

Facing multiple iconic villains like Venom, Kraven the Hunter, and Lizard, their strength and resolve will be tested as they face these dangerous threats. After watching the latest PlayStation Showcase conference, I have very mixed feelings. On the one hand, Sony showed some really exciting games; on the other, their release dates are either distant, or totally unspecified. There will be no shortage of games to play in January, but don’t count on any spectacular launches.
While there are moments where the narrative will require you to control either Miles or Peter during specific scenes, there are also times when you can switch between the two on a whim. The choice is yours on how you want to use their specific powers to take on certain activities and crimes. And if the henchmen have been blessed with an upgrade, then you can expect something even more intimidating from the bosses.

Insomniac brought back the ability to change the super-suit you have equipped. They reduced the amount of suits Peter has, as Peter and Miles each have their own suits. There is also a variety of side characters that will pop up throughout the adventure.
IGN’s Spider-Man 2 walkthrough and guide features a complete map, a walkthrough, all colelctibles and much, much more. This guide was specially crafted for the PS5 version of Spider-Man 2 and also applies to the 2025 PC version. To their credit, the way you can highlight side objectives by pressing the right stick is a welcome upgrade over mere icons on a map. Even without that, you can spot ominous clouds or glowing purple rooftops with the bare eye signaling activities are there to be found.

One of my criticisms of the first in Insomniac’s series was how uninspired many of the showdowns felt, with their quicktime-heavy fights making a light impact. Improvements were made in Miles Morales, but here in the full-fledged sequel, boss battles really come to life. You’re made to wait a little too long for them sometimes, but when they do arrive they never fail to excite.
